LMM GROUP forged steel rolls have better toughness, surface hardness uniformity and fatigue resistance. In order to meet the specific requirements of different rolling mills and rolling conditions, different alloying elements can be added to the steel for rolls to improve the performance of the rolls.

LMM GROUP forged steel roll has a large diameter of ф1650mm, and has different material series such as cr2, cr3, cr4, cr5 and so on. Through a special heat treatment process, the large forged steel rolls produced by our company have a hardened layer depth of ≥75mm and a hardness uniformity of ±5 hsd, which are suitable for all kinds of single-stand or multi-stand continuous rolling mills.

Founded in 2007, LMM GROUP mainly produces all kinds of metallurgical rolls for various types of steel, bar, high-speed wire and strip hot and cold plate and strip rolling mills.

Forged steel roll technical Process:

Electric arc furnace smelting → LF \ VD refining → ingot casting → annealing → cleaning → electroslag remelting → annealing → forging → post forging heat treatment → rough machining → preliminary heat treatment → semi finishing → dual frequency quenching or differential temperature treatment → cryogenic treatment → tempering → finishing → packaging and delivery.

Cast rolls technical Process:

Modeling → smelting → centrifugal casting → cleaning → preliminary heat treatment → rough machining → differential heat treatment → finishing → packaging and delivery.

Temperature controlled cooling + annealing treatment after casting:
the microstructure transformation is more sufficient and the stress state is more stable.

The composition of the working layer adopts multi-element micro alloying technology:
 which takes into account wear resistance and accident resistance, and has better comprehensive performance.

The multi-layer composite technology: is adopted to effectively block the diffusion of high alloy content in the working layer to the core structure and ensure the strength and toughness of the core structure.

Differential heat treatment technology: is adopted to make the microstructure change fully and the stress distribution more stable and reasonable.
