LMM GROUP forged steel rolls have better toughness, surface hardness uniformity and fatigue resistance. In order to meet the specific requirements of different rolling mills and rolling conditions, different alloying elements can be added to the steel for rolls to improve the performance of the rolls.

LMM GROUP forged steel roll has a large diameter of ф1650mm, and has different material series such as cr2, cr3, cr4, cr5 and so on. Through a special heat treatment process, the large forged steel rolls produced by our company have a hardened layer depth of ≥75mm and a hardness uniformity of ±5 hsd, which are suitable for all kinds of single-stand or multi-stand continuous rolling mills.

About LMM GROUP

In the field of backup rollers, LMM’s goal is not only to become an important manufacturer of backup rollers, but also to lead the development of backup roller technology. As early as the 1980s, LMM Support Roller Manufacturing Factory successfully developed and produced support rollers weighing more than 100 tons; at the beginning of the 21st century, LMM Support Roller Manufacturing Factory successively developed Cr2, Cr3, Cr4, and Cr5 series backup roll materials meet the requirements of rolling technology for backup rolls and are still used today; in recent years, LMM backup roll manufacturing plant has developed Cr8 backup rolls with better wear resistance and stronger fatigue spalling resistance.
