Due to the high quality requirements of cold-rolled sheets, especially cold-rolled sheets are widely used in light industry, automobile, construction and railway industries, to produce high-quality cold-rolled sheets, high-quality cold-rolled work rolls must be guaranteed. This places high demands on the performance of cold-rolled work rolls.
The surface of the roll body must have high and uniform hardness to ensure the dimensional accuracy and good surface quality of the cold-rolled strip or steel plate. The roll body has a certain depth of hardened layer. Has high anti-accident ability.
In order to achieve these properties, the original structure of the roll material is very strict. One is the pure metallurgical quality; the other is the uniformity of the organization. High metallurgical quality means that the crystallization of the rolled steel ingot is dense, the segregation is not serious, white spots are not allowed, and the content of non-metallic inclusions remaining in the steel is as low as possible.
The microstructure requirements of the roll in use state are hidden needle M and fine C, and the carbide particle size is as small as possible (0.5-2 microns), and it is dispersed. At the same time, a certain depth of the hardened layer is ensured. The increase of the depth of the hardened layer can reduce the number of re-quenching of the roll in use and greatly reduce the cost of the roll.
