The main uses of hot rolled steel

Structural steel: Mainly used in the production of steel structures, bridges, ships, and vehicles. Hot-rolled steel is widely used in large-scale building structures due to its good machinability and weldability.

Weathering steel: Hot-rolled steel with special elements (such as P, Cu, C, etc.) has good corrosion resistance and atmospheric corrosion resistance, and is often used in the production of containers, special vehicles, and building structures.

Automotive structural steel: Used in the production of automotive FRAME, WHEEL, etc., because it has good stamping and welding properties.

Hot-rolled special steel: Carbon steel, alloy steel, and tool steel are used for general mechanical structures. After heat treatment, they are used in the production of various mechanical parts.

Steel plates for steel pipes: Used to produce high-pressure gas pressure vessels with a volume of less than 500L filled with LPG, acetylene gas, and various gases, because they have good processing performance and compressive strength.

Main uses of cold-rolled steel

Construction field:
Used in the production of building structure skeleton parts, columns, beams, purlins, wall panels, etc. The high strength and good forming properties of cold-rolled steel make it have important application value in building structures.

Automobile manufacturing:
Used in automobile shells, body structures, engine hoods, doors, body frames, automobile suspension systems, etc. Cold-rolled steel has excellent hardness, toughness, strength, formability and corrosion resistance, which meets the requirements of automobile manufacturing for steel performance.

Mechanical manufacturing field:
Widely used in the manufacture of various machines, instruments, meters, etc. For example, aluminum alloy cold-rolled plates are widely used in the manufacture of transportation tools such as automobiles, trains, airplanes, ships, satellites, etc., and alloy steel cold-rolled plates are used in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, etc.

Power industry:
Used in the manufacture of power equipment shells, such as large generators, transformers, capacitors, etc. Cold-rolled steel has high requirements for the content of pores and inclusions in the material, because the safety and reliability of power equipment are directly related to the stable operation of the power grid.

Home appliance industry:
When manufacturing the outer shell or components of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and other electrical appliances, cold-rolled steel has the advantages of low cost, good corrosion resistance and high strength.
