Cincin giling dari karbida semen (dikenal juga sebagai cincin giling tungsten karbida) memiliki sifat konduksi termal yang baik. Dibandingkan dengan material lain, jenis ini jauh lebih unggul dalam hal ketahanan terhadap panas, ketahanan terhadap keausan, serta kekuatan.
